The "Have nots" - people between school semesters, work schedules, stealing a few golden days (certainly not a full, contiguous week). Some on my sandlot baseball team had rented a house for a full week - I had to work out a couple of days around my work schedule in my dear Uncle's "shot & beer" bar (work helped pay for school). The "Haves" were so bored by the end of the Summer, they'd put chairs out to watch the sandlot team play wiffleball in the street. I never got to play in Yankee Stadium, but my memories of the crowds along the curbs, and our Shore adventures, are still oh-so-dear to me 50 yrs. down the Parkway.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1349128715082229990.post-75048324456594350322021-07-01T17:38:50.730-07:002021-07-01T17:38:50.730-07:00what you told is very interesting, and thanks, I l...what you told is very interesting, and thanks, I learned a lot, such as shrink down.
